Smiling Bryan at the glacier
The only way you are allowed to get on the glacier is with a guide. We got to the park too late for that and settled for a two hour hike to a point that was a 100 meters distant from where the glacier ends. From that distance the glacier is a gray color, reflecting all the rock debris that it has scoured from the earth.
